TSO - Modern Broadway
OMG, they opened with a moving medley from The Phantom of the Opera. Then followed with a great balance of some lesser known musicals and some well known ones. Featuring the amazing Betsy Wolfe and awesome Jeremy Jordan, and of course, our wonderful orchestra, this was one of the best POPS performances I have attended! Oh, and Stephen Reineke sang too - what a guy!

Luminato - Four Sisters
In a post apocalyptic world, those most in need get ostracized, forced to live in lawless and deprived communities, serving as guinea pigs, struggling to survive. Although I never understand modern dance and so the choreography was mostly lost on me for meaning, there was sufficient dialogue for me to appreciate the story, and the cast was outstanding.

Luminato/Canstage - The Full Light of Day
I love the integration of video, providing perspectives that are almost voyeuristic. An emotional portrayal of guilt, disappointment and a life of empty privilege.

Luminato - Forget Me Not
Ronnie Burkett is a long time favourite of mine, bringing puppets to life like no one else can. This new show was quite different, with an audience interaction element that had us manipulating the "others", following the action around the freestyle stage and feeling like we quite belonged there. It is a delightful show.
