Prague/Vienna/Budapest - Day 3: Kutna Hora

On the road about an hour to visit the famous silver mining town of Kutna Hora. We explored the local cathedral, named after the patron saint of those suffering an immediate death (like mineworkers subject to an accident in the mine), the silver mining museum and the Town square.

Not to be missed is coffee and streudal at Cafe Lavande. Heavenly! Be sure to bring local currency, as the Euro is not readily accepted here, particularly in the small shops.

The Bone Museum was indeed an unusual stop. Somewhat macabre, digging up a cemetary and arranging the bones in various architectures displayed in a chapel, was a unique solution to a problem of a cemetary growing too large.

Ending the day back in Prague with a little stroll around the Charles Bridge, then dinner at Zplaty Klas, for authentic Czech schnitzel. Delicious!
